PEPPOL becomes essential from January 2026
From January 2026, all Belgian companies will have to
use a certified invoicing software and connected to the network PEPPOL.
In practice: invoices sent in the format
Word, Excel or PDF “classic” will no longer be accepted.
Only the compliant e-invoicing via PEPPOL shall be valid and legally recognised.
